For those looking for a design and vision for their home and gardens. We will create a long-term plan with clear goals that ensure you feel the connection to place and allow the land you call home to flourish to benefit the larger ecosystem.

This is a 3-month process, which we will go through below.

We begin by meeting, setting goals, getting to know one another and what you are hoping see come to fruition in your space. This is when we will go through the process of ethics and goals for you and the land you are stewarding.
This entire time will be focused on intake or breathing in the land’s rhythms and patterns so we can make sure we understand it well enough to design what will not just benefit but celebrate what it can do for you and the larger ecosystem.
Finally, we will review and look at how to tackle this design both economically and from an impact standpoint. Together we will review the design and the vision.

Commercial

At the end you will receive the design and we will work together to strategize where to begin, what will work, and how to accomplish the design.

Consulting

Sometimes we don’t need a full design, just some professional perspective and ideas. Sometimes this can be a great place to begin.

You may want just some ways to tweak or solve a few issues in your landscaping. Consulting is a great fit for that.
We are always happy to come in and give an opinion and offer up ideas for suggested plants and ways of utilizing a space. This is a great option if you have a small space that just needs some vision.
You may be preparing to build and looking for a way to think about your land, home, and larger impact from a regenerative and nature focused mindset. We are happy to come and consult on how you may best use your land to make a positive impact even as you develop and make it your dream.

We have the most knowledge in northwest lower Michigan, so we prefer doing designs specifically for this area, but we are very happy to consider projects along the west coast of Michigan and to offer virtual consults in the northern midwest and east coast, particularly around permaculture system design and home garden challenges.
I still offer them and you can find them on this site for now. I highly suggest the beginner gardener course. All clients receive access to these tools as part of working with Perma.
We also offer occasional design classes in the winter and spring seasons with Green Door Folk School if you would like to learn the process as well.
Yes, after we complete your design and close the design phase, we offer the chance for you to work with our dedicated professional installers to handle anything we dream up. We will be with you along the way to ensure you are getting the highest quality outcome with the best in the business. Everything install of softscape to hardscape to the maintenance.
